1. Select the "Edit Options" Button
2. "Allow" attentiontrust.org to install the extension
3. Click again on the Download button below
4. Select the "Install Now" button in the extension pop-up. Restart your browser.

Attention Toolkit

The Attention Toolkit is a free, open-source utility that records "attention data" from the AttentionTrust Extension into a MySQL database.

The Attention Toolkit is intended to serve as the starting point for developers seeking to query and understand attention data, and to build interesting applications making use of this data. The Tooklit will allow anyone with a basic LAMP setup to act as an Attention Service. To become a certified as an Attention Service by AttentionTrust, you must first apply to become an AttentionTrust member. Approved members then have the opportunity to become a certified Attention Service.

(The AttentionTrust Extension is an "attention recorder" in the form of a Firefox extension that allows users to capture aspects of their clickstream and browsing history. This "attention data" can be saved to a user's hard drive and shared with with any Attention Service certified by AttentionTrust.
