Information Collection and Use
AttentionTrust (AT) is the sole owner of the aggregated information collected on this website. We will not sell, share, or rent this aggregated information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. AttentionTrust collects information from its users at several different points on its website. You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data.
Users own their individual data, though AttentionTrust owns a copy, and AttentionTrust will treat users' data as theirs.
AttentionTrust automatically logs personal data by means such as programming or we link information automatically logged by such means with personal data about specific individuals. We use cookies to store personal data, make logins efficient or we link information stored in cookies with personal data about specific individuals. We do so to improve the information and for our own internal business processes.
We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations.
Registration
In order to join the members' area of this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to provide their contact information (name, website and email address). This information is used to contact the user about membership on our site for which they have expressed interest, and to display a list of AttentionTrust members' names and websites on our members' page. AttentionTrust does not require users to provide demographic information or unique identifiers.
Minors' Privacy
AttentionTrust does not knowingly collect personal data from children using this website. Users under the age of 18 who become AttentionTrust members will not have their name and website displayed on our members' page. If you are an AttentionTrust member under the age of 18, and you would like us to display your name and website displayed, please contact us to provide us with your parent's or guardian's approval. More information on the Online Child Protection Act is provided below.
Order
We request information from users on our membership pledge form. Here users must provide contact information (name, website name, website URL, and email address), as must confirm that they are over the age of 18. This information is used for to display members' names and websites on our our members' page and to compile our internal membership list. We will check the member's information to confirm the intent to join the AT, and this contact information is only used to get in touch with the user by AttentionTrust. We will not share email addresses with other parties.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our website. For instance, by setting a cookie on our website, the user would not have to log in with a password, thereby saving time each time they visit our site. Should the user want to temporarily disable this function they can do so by clicking the log-out link. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. For example, the user will not be able to view the members-only areas. Cookies in the AttentionTrust Extension will track users 'attention stream' intentionally, at the control of the user. Users who choose to install the AttentionTrust Extension will also control the extent of this recording, and where the information is shared, through the use of cookies (please see the FAQ for the AttentionTrust Extension for further details.)
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer our website, track users' movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information about individual users.
Sharing
We do not share information about individuals with anyone, other than the list of pledged members displayed on our site.

This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that AttentionTrust is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites that we link to. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websiites that collect personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by the AttentionTrust website.
Surveys & Contests
AttentionTrust may request information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is voluntary and users may choose whether or not to disclose any information requested. This information may include contact information (such as name and email address), and demographic information (such as zip code or age). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving use of and satisfaction with this website or other AttentionTrust services.
Special Offers
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username, and confirm their intention to become an AttentionTrust member. Members will occasionally receive administrative messages, as well as information on changes or upgrades to the AttentionTrust Extension, if they have downloaded it, for those who have opted-in to receiving our newsletter. Users may opt not to receive these messages. Our opt-out policy is described in greater detail below.
Site and Service Updates
We send users site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from administrative announcements, which contain important information about Attention Trust for members. We communicate with the user regarding updates to our site and services and issues relating to their account via email. If users wish to discontinue membership, they will no longer receive these administrative messages.
Security and Confidentiality
All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors' personal data.
We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update, or remove that user's personal data. Please contact us to notify us of any changes.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
